REVIEW: APIEU Water Light Tint Rilakkuma Edition #CR01

I was finally able to get the water light tint from Apieu in collaboration with Rilakkuma! When I first saw that this special edition line launched, I wanted to purchase it right away, however, I had some delay and had to order it a bit late (in addition to some products being high in demand and thus being sold out very quickly). So, once I saw that this item shipped I was counting down the days till it finally arrived!

Cute packaging~

Close-up of the applicator tip
SMELL: Somewhat of a fruity scent? It is very light though

SIZE: 4g of product, a fair amount for a tint

PRICE: Online on TesterKorea for ~$5 (5,500 Won)

EFFECTIVENESS: Peachy-coral shade, not very long lasting :( , nice consistency, feels a bit like chapstick? Not a purely liquid tint.

Swatches:

One application of the tint v. the tint blended out

Lips before and after tint application

My lips after around two hours from the application.
(I ate dinner during that time to test out the staying power of the tint)
As you can see, the tint is completely gone :(

Comparison:

I decided to do a side by side comparison between this tint and the Face Shop's Watery tint to compare between the shade and longevity of the two. After I swatched them on my hands, I decided to wash my hands to see if it left any color behind (the picture on the right). As you can see, the face shop's tint left a pretty vivid stain, whereas Apieu's left a very faint stain. Based on this comparison, I would recommend the face shop's tint over Apieu's. However, Apieu' shade is very pretty, so if reapplying the tint isn't a problem,  this tint could work out well for you!

Top/left: The Face Shop Watery Tint in #6   Botton/right: APIEU Water Light Tint

RATING: 3/5 Stars

PROS:
Blendable
Cute pacakging
Wide range of shades
Creamy consistency

CONS:
NOT long-lasting
Takes a while to completely set
Package design is the same for every shade

*Make sure you exfoliate your lips prior to using this if you have dry or chapped lips*

RECOMMEND?:
I would not recommend this product, but if you are a fan of Rilakkuma or cute packaging, then you should get it ^^ It is not that bad of a product, but there are much better tints out there for around the same price or even less that last longer and have better quality.

Thanks for reading~ Hope this helped!
